Donald J. Trump Award
Instituted by Ronna Mee Brand, the Donald J. Trump Award honors and recognizes individuals who make a significant impact on the evolution, development and perpetuation of real estate throughout Greater Los Angeles.
The first Donald J. Trump Award was presented by Donald J. Trump at the Installation Gala, held annually in December, at the Beverly Hills Hotel Crystal Ballroom. Ronna Mee Brand, 2007 President of the Beverly Hills Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors was honored that evening as incoming president. Tom Gilmore, the first recipient of the award, is well known for his contribution in developments for downtown Los Angeles.
The second DJT Award was presented at the Beverly Hilton, International Ballroom.
In tradition, the first recipient Tom Gilmore, presented on December 6, 2007, the second award to Michael Koss; owner of Koss Financial and past chair of the United Jewish Federation. Donald Trump sent a personalized message to the honoree via video broadcast.
