Domain Operating Platform, DOP, represents a set of innovative technologies, represents a new computing strategy for conquering complex application domains. DOP also stand for a new type of software platform to support dynamic data modeling, provide service oriented runtime environment for applications, supports DOP oriented application developing and etc. DOP pushes modern Operating System concept and technology one big step further. It invades into conventional application layer, narrows down its applicable scope to a specific application domain, such as healthcare, but broadens its resource management scope to the field that is traditionally belonging to applications.
