Darian Ahmad Ritter, known professionally as DJX is a rapper from Greenville, South Carolina. His sound draws influence from various artists, such as Kanye West, Childish Gambino, N.E.R.D., and Tyler the Creator.
DJX was born and raised in Greenville South Carolina. His debut album was the indie release Freshman EP (2015). While he made several albums afterward, his first notable release was the Purple Heart EP (2016) which reached over 50,000 streams on Soundcloud. Shortly afterwards ANIMOSITY (2017) was released, garnering over 100,000 plays cross platforming Soundcloud, Apple Music, and Spotify. Graduation (2018) is DJX's most recent release.
