DiscInsert

DiscInsert is an open-source project which provides a user-friendly interface to rip or play DVDs when they're inserted into a Windows-based computer. This simplifies the process of ripping and playing DVDs, which would normally involve several steps and likely be too confusing for the average user to perform. DiscInsert also connects to the Internet to retrieve information about the inserted DVD, such as its full title, the director, its MPAA rating and box art. This information is presented to the user in a 10ft interface with two buttons: "Rip" and "Play". A timeout can also be configured so that either option is selected automatically after a certain period of time, allowing DVDs to be ripped automatically after insertion.
