Dipayan Paul

Dipayan Paul (born 3 November 1992) is an English cricketer who plays as a right-handed middle order- batsman and a right-arm off spin bowler. In 2011, he became the first cricketer of Bangladeshi origin to become a full-time professional in Britain.
Early life
Paul was born in Sylhet, Bangladesh. He attended Sir John Cass Redcoat School in Stepney, London. In 2011, he finished college.
In June 2012, Paul and Mehdi Abbas was praised by Blackheath captain Chris Willetts after they racked up the runs, Mehdi Abass (52) and Dipayan Paul (68no), which helped Blackheath defeat Bickley Park.
In 2012, Paul joined Marylebone Cricket Club as an all-rounder. On 2 July 2012, he took match-winning figures of 4 wickets from 15 balls against table-toppers Essex 2nd XI in the Second Eleven Trophy one-day competition on his debut for Marylebone Cricket Club.
Recognition
In January 2012, Paul was named in the “British Bangladeshi Power 100.”
