Dileepji

Dileepji Pathak is an Indian spiritual teacher who was born in India. He is the husband of Anandi Ma and a disciple of Dhyanyogi Madhusudandas. Together with Anandi Ma, he runs the nonprofit organisation Dhyanyoga Centers and maintains an ashram in Nikora, Gujarat, India.

Early Life

Dileepji became a student of Dhyanyogi Madhusudandas in his early teenage years. More than 30 years ago, Dileepji's father, himself a devotee of Dhyanyogi, told his teacher, "I have five sons. I would like to give you one to do your work." Shri Dhyanyogi responded, "When the time comes, I will take Dileepji."

Life With Dhyanyogi

During his school years, Dileepji spent a great deal of time with Shri Dhyanyogi, growing up in his presence, travelling along with him, and absorbing his nature and temperament. He performed intense spiritual practices and mastered advanced yogic disciplines under Shri Dyanyogi's guidance, becoming one of his most prominent disciples.

Dileepji was instructed in the art of Shaktipat initiation by Dhyanyogi.

Following the completion of his B.Sc. degree in Chemistry in India, Dileepji came to the United States in 1974 to obtain a degree in Microbiology. At that time, Shri Dhyanyogi told him, "You go and I will come later."

In 1993 Shri Dhyanyogi gave him the spiritual name, Dileepji, which means, "One who wins the hearts of others."

Today

Dileepji teaches meditation and yoga alongisde Anandi Ma. They have disciples in India, the United States, Indonesia, the Czech Republic, Italy, Germany and Switzerland.
