Hitman: Codename 47
Burnwood's first appearance was in Hitman: Codename 47, in which she guides the new member of the International Contract Agency, Agent 47 as his 'handler'. Burnwood's role in the game was relatively minor, only texting 47 from encrypted devices for his jobs/missions. In the game, 47 went through open-world levels to eliminate his target, a revolutionary video game style, which earned the game notability. The story revolves around Agent 47's training. Beginning in an asylum, he escapes quickly to the delight of a mysterious watcher. A year later, 47 carries out a series of hits centered in different locations with Burnwood's guidance.
Hitman: Silent Assasin

Hitman: Contracts
In Contracts, 47 is badly wounded in Paris and relives old contracts while near death. In the slow-paced game, Diana is still voiced by McKee whilethe game follows 47's memories and the player goes through them. The game has a full count of twelve missions, all relived by Agent 47. Burnwood had a relatively minor appearance, not showing up physically at all.
Hitman: Blood Money
In Hitman: Blood Money, Diana is voiced for the final time by Vivienne McKee. Similar to the three games before, Diana only introduces missions to Agent 47 and he carries them out. Also similarly, Diana does not appear physeically in Blood Money. In Blood Money, the upgrading system is introduced, with 47 able to upgrade and purchase more weapons after each hit. The game also introduced the human shield technique, disarmament, distraction, hiding bodies, ", etc.
Hitman: Absolution
In Hitman: Absolution, Burnwood makes her first physical appearance, before faking her death after Agent 47 fakes assassinating her. Burnwood has straight, dark hair and an American accent despite her voice in Silent Assassin, Blood Money, and Contracts. In Hitman: Absolution, Agent 47 is on the run from both The Agency, Blake Dexter and all his associates.
Hitman (2016)
is the beginning of the World of Assassination trilogy, including Hitman, Hitman 2, and Hitman 3. Hitman was the longest of Diana's appearances so far, her dialogue reaching nearly fifty-two minutes long. The game released its missions throughout the year, and 47 realized they were all somehow attached to the elusive organization Providence, which Burnwood later took over.
Hitman 2 (2018)
Hitman 2 centers around 47 working on tracking down a "Shadow client". Later on in the story, it's revealed Agent 47 and Lucas Grey were clones created by a doctor, as well as Agent 47 killing Diana's parents.
Hitman 3 (2021)
In Hitman 3, Agent 47 and Grey are enacting revenge on the Providence members, continuing for two levels. Diana seemingly betrays 47 and joins Providence as the co-worker of 'the constant.' Later on, however, it's revealed Diana tricked the Constant and locked him in a train with Agent 47. A year later, Burnwood becomes the Constant and burns all evidence of crimes, concluding the World of Assassination story-line.
Comics
Agent 47: Birth of the Hitman (series)
In Birth of the Hitman Vol. 1, Agent 47 and Agent 6 (who is 47's childhood friend) assassinated Burnwood's parents. It also describes his ownership of a rabbit and a mouse within the walls of his childhood confinement. His life was widely tragic, involving failed escape attempts, memory wipes, and his best friend escaping while he fails to get out. Agent 47 is revealed to be one of the only successful clones created, being the literal forty-seventh clone.
The comics relatively tie into the series when we see Burnwood learn of her parents' death because of the elusive Constant.
