Feedr is an office catering marketplace for businesses in need of off-site catering. Feedr works with 150+ restaurants across London, Dublin and Manchester, including Deliciously Ella, Leon Restaurants, Farmstand, and Maple & Fitz. Feedr's Cloud Canteen service, which is a technology-driven, delivered-in food solution for businesses who want to promote staff wellbeing and nutrition by subsidizing meals for teams, in the office and at home. Feed has a modular suite of services, including click & collect technology for on-site canteens, hospitality, pop-ups and pantry fill. Founded in 2016 by Riya Grover and Lyz Swanton, Feedr raised a combined £2.7m in two funding rounds from a mix of angel investors, Founder's Factory and through a crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube. Feedr was acquired by Compass Group in March 2020 for $24m. Founders Riya Grover and Lyz Swanton co-founded Feedr in 2016. Prior to starting Feedr, Riya worked in finance at Deutsche Bank and marketing at PepsiCo. A graduate of the University of Oxford and Harvard Business School, she is currently the chief executive officer at Feedr. She has won numerous awards for her success with Feedr: She was shortlisted for Forbes' prestigious 30 under 30 as well as being named one of the top 100 UK Startups two years in a row. Prior to Feedr, Lyz spent time as a consultant at Oliver Wyman and driving policy change in healthcare on behalf of the Clinton Health Access Initiatives. After obtaining an MBA at the London Business School, Lyz founded Feedr and became its chief operating officer, solely responsible for operations, finance and technology. In 2021, Lyz was named as the Innovator of the Year by Women in IT Awards. Compass Group Acquisition In 2020, Compass Group UK & Ireland acquired Feedr as part of their drive to innovate and digitize their catering business.
