Dhavalakeerthi is the name given to the head (Bhattaraka) of the Arahanthgiri Jain Math. Personal life Dhavalakeerthi hails from a poor Tamil Jain family in Tindivanam, Tamil Nadu. Current position Since August, 1998, he is the Bhattaraka of the Arahanthgiri Jain Math, Thirumalai, Tamil Nadu, India. Along with Bhattaraka Laxmisena of the Mel Sithamoor Jain Math, he has guided the religious activities of the Tamil Jain people. He has started various schools at the Arahanthgiri Jain Math with help from the Jain community. In total, the trust provides 2300 students with free food and shelter. |
