Corporate social responsibility at Hyundai

Hyundai was founded by Chung Ju-yung and is a South Korean company. Its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) covers three areas: "trust-based management, environmental management, and social contribution."
Philosophy
Hyundai's CSR philosophy can be captured by the company slogan “moving the world together”-suggesting that it is the companies duty to make a better world in close cooperation with all people and groups (which also includes stakeholders, employees, customers, shareholders, suppliers and local communities).
Vision
The company's vision can be explained in a three-phase series.
* The adopting stage which stretches fom 2001 to 2004: During this time it issued sustainability reports, initiated social contribution programs and environmental projects in each region of the business.
* The maturing stage from 2005 to 2008 focused on establishing and improving the organisational system for CSR, categorizing CSR projects and programs and leading global CSR programs.
* The third stage of their vision began in 2009. Their vision is to deepen and expand the global CSR projects and solidify corporate reputation.
