Dhanushka Samarasinghe

Dhanushka Samarasinghe is the guitarist of Paranoid Earthling, which is a pioneer rock band hailing from Kandy, Sri Lanka.
Early life
Born to Mr Chula Samarasinghe and Mrs Suri Samarasinghe on 4 March 1982, Dhanushkaa was exposed to music at the age of 8. His father being an ardent fan of Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd had instantly been an influence in Dhanushka’s music life.
Dhanushka and his friend from school Asela Bandara intended to start a band and at the same time his brother Shanka Samarasinghe and Mirshad Buckman were rehearsing together. To assist his brother and Mirshad Dhanushka and Asela too joined with them and completed the line up for Paranoid Earthling.
In 2006 Dhanushka met his soul mate Vanessa Sridharan and got married to her on 12 June 2008.
Musical Style and influence
Dhanushka is a fan of the bands Smashing Pumpkins, Mars Volta and Alice in Chains.
