Deziree Renae Ramirez (born February 14, 1983) is a Texas actress, model, reality-tv star, author, and radio personality known for her appearances in men's magazines. She has appeared in Playboy magazine several times and was one of the "Most Beautiful & Successful women under 30" by Maxim magazine in 2011. On May 15th, 2012 Deziree confirmed in an exclusive interview she will not be a cast member of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Dallas, due to her shooting her new reality tv show "Deziree from spurs to heels" that will premiere in 2013. Deziree's Net Worth is estimated at $16 Million which majority was inherited from her grandfather's fortune.
Early life
Ramirez was born in Amarillo, Texas, the daughter of Mike, a music producer, and Yassi, a UK model and fashion designer. Her great-grandfather, was the founder of Cache, Inc then known as Altours Incorporated, a national upscale clothing company that caters to women.
Career
After graduating from Amarillo High in 2000, Ramirez moved to New York City and worked as an intern for Cache. During the summer of 2000, Ramirez went to a fashion show in New York City and was scouted by a Ford Model representative. She soon signed on with the agency and focused her modeling in fashion. She walked the runway in Milan, Tokyo, Paris and New York City. Clothing companies soon were calling Deziree to be the face of their brand. In November 2002 she appeared as the featured model in Playboy magazine. At this stage in her modelling career, she had decided to leave New York behind and head to Los Angeles to further pursue her career ambitions. Since then she has appeared in Playboy, Maxim, FHM, H Para Hombres . She is also the co-founder of Fannatic magazine, and is the woman behind Undezcovered by Deziree an upscale clothing line, Casa De Colores Resort Hotel, A Resort Hotel & Spa located in Cancun, Mexico. She is also the voice as a radio personality star on her weekly radio show A Night of Fantasy.
Acting and modeling
After her move to Los Angeles, Ramirez soon auditioned for small roles in movies and TV shows, landing a few roles as an extra in numerous TV series including CSI:Miami and Prison Break. She was also a guest on the Howard Stern Show, Beauty and the Geek, MTV Room Raiders, and MTV Next.
In October 2002, she was a guest on Howard Stern along with model Melanie Iglesis. Soon after, she attended a Playboy casting call in Chicago, IL and was featured in Playboy's Special Edition Magazine College Girls in 2003.
In 2004, she appeared in MTV Room Raiders Texas edition, however she did not win the dating game show and was eliminated. Later, that year MTV contacted Ramirez to be a contestant on their newest show Next which she won against the other dating contenders. This year would also be the second time she would appear in Playboy.
In 2005, she was in a commercial for Loreal and appeared in FOX's Prison Break starring as Matilda, a nurse.
In 2008, Ramirez was also a guest on Warner Bro's Beauty and the Geek as a Judge on the fifth season.
In 2009, she was an extra on CSI:Miami.
