Devendra Singh Kaswa (born on October 15, 1979 in Bikaner) is a commander of the elite Indian Commando Battalion for Resolute Action force. He was born into the Royal Jat family of Soniasar to father Shri Girdhari Ram Kaswa and mother Smt Rukhma Devi. He was educated at Bikaner Boys School, St Vivekanand School and KV No.2 in Bikaner. In 2002, he joined as an officer in the Central Reserve Police Force. He has initiated a movement against DRUG ADDICTION and DOWRY SYSTEM. Has motivated many people to quit drugs, smoking tobacco and many youths have married without dowry inspired and convinced by him. He donates blood on his birthdays and inspired his men to do the same. He is a marksman and certified rock climber, good swimmer, horse rider, snooker player, skater. He has served in most of the states fighting terrorism, naxalism. |
