Detpak is a multinational firm specialising in board and paper food packaging. Part of the Detmold Packaging Group, the company is headquartered in Adelaide, with sixteen offices and five manufacturing plants globally. Detpak is a global food packaging supplier.
History & Background
Detpak was formed in 1981 as the sales and marketing arm of the Detmold Packaging Group, which also encompasses Detmold Flexibles, Paper-Pak and Detmold Industrial Packaging. Concentrating on the food service industry, Detpak expanded from its base in Australia in the mid 1980s and now has offices in North Asia, South East Asia, the Middle East, South Africa, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Detpak supplies food packaging products to clients such as McDonalds, KFC, Subway and Starbucks in addition to smaller restaurants and coffee shops.
Products
Detpak has bought many product innovations to the packaging market. The most notable of these is the Ripple-Wrap™ Hot Cup, an insulated coffee cup with “corrugated” board wrapping.
