Destiny 105 is a community radio station based in East Oxford, UK, broadcasting on 105.1 FM. The station is licensed to OX4 FM CIC, a not-for-profit company. Purpose Destiny Radio exists to provide a platform for local music, news, issues and interests as well as providing training to local volunteers and presenters. During the day the station provides a cross genre mainstream selection of new and old music, interspersed with local information and other features. After 7pm the station broadcasts in-depth shows dealing with local issues, news, events and music as well as specialist music shows presented by volunteers from the local area. History The station was originally launched as OX105 FM in February 2012, however due to a number of issues it was faced with the loss of all studio facilities and potential closure in January 2014. After a complete change of management and construction of new studios and technical facilities in just five days, the station re-launched as Destiny 105 on 14 February 2014.
