Bay FM Exmouth

Bay FM (Exmouth UK)
is a local community radio station based in Exmouth, Devon, United Kingdom, which, at the moment, broadcasts for two weeks of the year on a pilot Restricted Service Licence (RSL). The licence to broadcast is issued by the regulator, The Office of Communication (OFCOM). The station will apply for a full broadcast licence when OfCom next invites applications.
Community radio licences are intended for social gain and community empowerment. Bay FM is run on a not-for-profit basis and is not a commercial venture. The station is staffed by volunteer presenters and journalists talking about real life issues.
Bay FM plays music from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Specialised music programmes include, blues, jazz, folk, rock, soul, motown, northern soul, funk and classic disco.
Bay FM also features local music, artists and bands from the Exmouth area, and frequently broadcasts live acts on air.
