Department of Linguistics and Scandinavian Studies is a department under the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Oslo.
Founding
The Department was established in January 2005. The Department is responsible for both research and teaching, and its fields are Scandinavian Literature and Languages, Linguistics, Irish Language and Culture, Norse religion, Literature Didactics, Textual Science and Philology, Lexicography, Onomastics, Language Technology and Computing.
