Dennis and Judi are two radio talk show hosts. Their full names are "Dennis Malloy" and "Judi Franco", and they have been working together since 1997. Their radio show airs on New Jersey 101.5, or 97.3 in S Jersey / Delaware.
Judi Franco is from Long Branch, NJ, is 45 years old, and has four children. She is married to Mark, who owns and operates a video editing business in Deal, NJ. She is a practicing Orthodox Sephardic Jew.
Dennis Malloy is from Marlton, NJ, is 49 years old, and is divorced with three children. He is a veteran of numerous radio programs in the Philadelphia radio market and worked at NJ101.5 before Franco joined him. Malloy is an avid bass fisherman who talks about fishing, his South Philadelphia Italian upbringing, and food, from eating to cooking to restaurants.
New Jersey 101.5 has the highest ratings in New Jersey, primarily due to two logistical factors: New Jersey has no VHF network television affiliate, from which residents would otherwise obtain information, and New Jersey has no other centrally located high power radio station. This leaves New Jersey 101.5 with a virtual monopoly of New Jersey listeners who are not served by any other broadcast outlet.
The Dennis and Judi show mixes a variety of topics, from New Jersey state government issues to the more mundane such as sending your children to summer camp. Dennis and Judi sometimes use a common American talk radio format: sensationalist-leaning, hot-button conservatism, along with Howard Stern-esque crude humor (but notably less crude and socially liberal than Stern), a combination which attracts a large amount of listeners who are also invited to call in to the program. Although Dennis and Judi are mostly socially conservative, they usually take a libertarian stance on whether or not government should interfere with citizen's lives.
Dennis and Judi often jokingly state that they subscribe to the idea that the end of the world is near.
A frequent call in guest of their show is Franco's father, former electronics store mogul Joe Franco. Joe is known for his raspy voice and amusing sayings that are often imitated by Malloy or played as a sound effect recorded during previous shows. Joe Franco usually gives good advice on many topics, including using Vicks VapoRub to heal the cracks in your skin (it works great). In addition, the Friday Music Hour from noon to 1pm focuses on a particular theme such as "Songs that remind you of your first love" or "Guilty Pleasures".
Upcoming Events: Dennis' celebrity match with Tommy G, where he is expected to get knocked out.
Their fanbase includes former acting New Jersey Governor Richard Codey and [
