Deepak Singh is a young film-maker and a media entrepreneur.
A new entrant on the Bollywood canvas, Deepak Singh's film production company Young Turks Motion Pictures has plans to make ten films over the next 5 years. As quoted by a magazine recently, "Deepak belongs to a rare brigade in the Bollywood". Indian film industry does not have many young producers without a family history in the industry even at a time when the youth rules almost all other faculties of film-making.
Young Turks Motion Pictures is working with some of the eminent directors, actors and professionals of the Indian film industry.
His earlier startup Young Turks Media is a communications agency and an audio-visual production house. Young Turks Media produces, designs and develops Television content and formats. It is also a media, communications and creative servicing agency.
Young Turks Media has also produced a record-making music album - India Hai Meri Jaan - on HMV Saregama. The album now holds the record for featuring the highest number of Indian achievers and celebrities in one video (non film), including the most of Team India Cricketers, Olympic Medalists, showbiz celebs and entrepreneurs.
Deepak Singh is a prolific blogger and writer. He is Speaker, Trainer & Coach for Communication, Business Development and Management with a global venture capital & enterprise development project.
Deepak has a philanthropic background too. His startups Young Turks also had a beginning as a pan-Asia level youth development initiative. Earlier, a Delegation of United Nations Habitat Youth Empowerment Program made a study-tour and profiled Young Turks, which has come quite a way since then. Deepak has served as the Principal Consultant with the Training Management Unit of Indo-German Cooperation, GTZ, InWEnt and Ministry of Environment & Forests, the apex Capacity Building wing of the conglomerate. He has been a consultant with a number of global, national and grassroots organizations, including European Commission programs.
