DeAndre Thomas

DeAndre Thomas (born September 28, 1986) is an American professional basketball player who is currently a free agent.
College basketball career
Thomas played two seasons at Chipola Junior College before playing one season at Indiana University. While at Indiana, he played with future NBA player, Eric Gordon. He played 32 games for the Hoosiers averaging 1.8 rebounds per game and 3.6 points per game. After that, he transferred to Robert Morris College.
Professional basketball career
In 2010, he played with the Halifax Rainmen of the PBL. In 2010, he played for the Albany Legends of the International Basketball League. He played 22 games with the Legends and helped them win the 2010 IBL Championship. He was named the championship MVP.
On September 19, 2011, it was announced that Thomas had re-signed with the Rainmen for the 2011-12 season. However,because of a locker room indicent following the Rainmen's opening game defeat against the London Lightning, Thomas was suspended for the remainder of the season and released from the Rainmen's roster.
