Dean Santoro is a Republican candidate for the 2008 Republican nomination for congress for , challenging incumbent Lincoln Diaz-Balart. His official campaign website it says "Dean is running for Congress to help restore a constitutionally minded government. He believes what he learned in school about our founding fathers and the struggles they endured to craft a free society are principles worth fighting for. He has been and always will be an advocate of limited government, a strong military and sound fiscal policy. Dean is a true conservative. A true Republican."
Personal life Dean Santoro was born and raised in the state of Connecticut. He was educated in the public school system where he developed a passion for music, poetry, technology, current events and politics. At the young age of 14 years old, he was involved in campaigning for Ronald Reagan. After graduating from high school, Dean went on to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Since 1989, he’s worked in various capacities in Corporate America, owned and operated several businesses and taught evenings at his local community college. He is currently a technology manager for a large retailer in Miami.
Political activity In addition to running for congress, Santoro has also endorsed Ron Paul for president, founded the 9th Ron Paul for President Meetup in the United States, chairs the Miami-Dade chapter of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida and hosts monthly meetings, and writes weekly articles for Nolan Chart on economic, monetary and geopolitical issues.
