Dean Grubb

Dean Grubb (born 4 October 1987) in Weston-Super-Mare is a Welsh born footballer who plays for Weymouth as a midfielder.
Grubb started his career as a trainee at Bristol City F.C.. He is described as strong and pacey, while possessing good football quality. In 2007 he left Bristol City F.C. and went to join the youth academy at Weston-Super-Mare F.C. after a few months in the Weston academy he was brough to the attention of Burnley F.C. and had a trial with them in which he played one reserve game for them before returning to Weston.
Soon after he returned to Weston he was selected for the Wales under 19 side followed by a Wales U21 cap. He went on to play 6 times for his country.
After 2 years at Weston he moved to Gloucester City A.F.C. in March 2009 and was a key member in there promotion winning season. He left at the end of the season and in May 2009 signed for Blue Square South side Weymouth F.C. as new boss Matty Hale's first signing.
