Deževa Agreement

The Deževa Agreement () concluded in 1282 in Deževa changed the policy of the Kingdom of Raška.
By virtue of him, King Stefan Milutin became king, subject to the royal title of Pope Honorius III after the death of Milutin to pass into one of Stefan Dragutin's sons. The official version of the incident is Dragutin's horse fall in the vicinity of Fort . In reality, Danilo II, Serbian Archbishop reports great dissatisfaction with the rising of the rulers and the people with the threat of attack from a neighbor.
Milutin takes Anna Terter as a wife and radically changes her foreign policy, directing her to the seizure of Byzantine possessions, becoming an ally of the Second Bulgarian State, while Dragutin is a Hungarian son-in-law.
In 1460, ie. after the abolition of Despotate (1459), the relics of Stefan Milutin were transferred from to Sofia and are still located in the St Nedelya Church.
A large temple dedicated to Saint Sava is being built on the site.
