Day without debts

Day without Debts is a internationally celebrated on November 17th. Its main purpose is to remind everybody not to postpone the payment of debts.  The first step towards solving the problem is to contact the creditor and conclude a payment agreement  in convenient installments.
History
KRUK Group initiated in 2009 the celebration of the Day without Debts, for the first time in Poland. It was chosen the date of November 17th because it is between October 31st, International Savings Day, and December the month when people’s expenditures increase due to the Christmas  Season. Since 2011 it is also marked in Romania. In the Czech Republic since 2012. Both Czech Republic and Slovakia celebrate Day without Debts on November 15th.
Educational Objectives
Day without Debts aims to remind people that they should return even the smallest amounts borrowed from the family, friends or colleagues. It reminds everyone about the obligation to respect their financial obligations or to remind them how much money and to whom do they owe money. It is an encouragement to build a positive financial image for the moment when they intend to take a loan or when they make installments purchases.
Events
On November 17th KRUK Group organizes educational and cultural conferences and invites people to join the event, to learn, to have fun and to encourage them to pay their morale debts, financial debts, to save money, etc. The event is celebrated by both financial and non-financial institutions.
