David Oxfeld is an American sports business professional. Oxfeld's career began at the University of Michigan in 1998. Aside from his grueling studies, David found time to write for the Michigan Daily, the school's daily newspaper, writing such hard thought prevoking articles as "Women's track leads until last second" and "Big-time matchup in Big 12 highlights weekend games" '. After receiving critical acclaim, Oxfeld graduated in 2002 and began venturing into the business side of the sports industry.
After stints with the New Jersey Nets and Madison Square Garden, Oxfeld finally landed at SportsNet New York in 2006, during the networks inception . David began as the Manager of Promotions and now holds the position of Account Executive .
David might be best remembered for his heart pumping play-by-play call of Endy Chavez's catch during the 2006 NLCS along with booth-mate Frank Mosca which can be seen here:
