Dave Mendonca

Dave Mendonca (born April 19, 1977) is an entertainment and sports journalist based in Toronto, Canada.
During his entertainment writing career, he has interviewed
many celebrities including superstar singer, Beyonce Knowles,
one of the stars of The Lord of the Rings film trilogy,
Sean Astin and former star, Lou Ferrigno.
Mendonca's entertainment articles have been published in various magazines/newspapers worldwide including The Dallas Morning News, FILMINK (Australia), Houston Press, Famous (Canada), Santa Monica Daily Press, Star Wars Insider and The Costco Connection.
He currently co-hosts an entertaining one hour "live" internet
radio basketball talk show called The NBA Breakdown which airs Sunday nights at 9pm eastern on BlogTalkRadio.com. He and co-host, Audley Stephenson, have interviewed former NBA players such as Spud Webb, Kevin Johnson, John Starks, Tom Chambers and Grammy Award-nominated R&B artist, Montell Jordan.
Mendonca is probably best known as a former national sports reporter and voice-over artist for The Score Television Network. From 2001-2006, he delivered on-air pre and post game reports involving the Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors. He has interviewed many current and former high profile athletes including Vince Carter, Wayne Gretzky, Marcus Allen and Pedro Martinez.
In 1997, Mendonca began his professional media career as an editorial assistant for The Sports Network show, SportsDesk. Since then, he has been a sports/entertainment television host/reporter, entertainment writer, voice-over specialist, radio traffic announcer and guest coordinator for the TSN program, Off The Record.
In 1998, Mendonca graduated from the Humber College
Radio Broadcasting program.
In 2008, he appeared as a businessman in , starring Edward Norton and Liv Tyler.
