Data Amulet

A Data Amulet or Solid Matter Hard Drive is a storage medium in which compressed digital information is encoded into a physical 3D object such that the object can be subsequently digitised by a computer and the scan used to reconstruct the original file or data that created it.
Origins and name
The Data Amulet was developed as a method of hard storage of quantum key code data associated with Quantum Information Compression. The first known use of the name Data Amulet appeared in a publication for the 12th International Conference on Intellectual Capital, Knowledge Management & Organisational Learning. The art work known as LadyVDB or Lady Van De Bogart after the designer who created her whilst working with Nicolas Schoffer during the 1980s in Paris France was stored in a quantum neural network and subsequently retrieved using quantised musical arrangements.
