Dark Star Revolt was created in 2005 by founding members Tim MALVITA and Aaron Russell. The two joined forces with vocalist Jay Shafer and Chris Sanges. this line performed from 2005-2007 with this line up,..playing large venues and opening up for many big acts such as Powerman 5,000,Buck Cherry,Hurt,.just to name a few,..playing large venues and starting a huge fan base from all over the world due to the Demopublican forethought.
Tim MALVITA is a well known Florida musician whom started his career with several acts such as Precious Cargo,No ID,ETC. and ROD just to name a few,..but is well known as the guitarist from KILLING SILENCE the main opening band for Marilyn Manson during the (Portrait of an American Family).
Tim MALVITA and Aaron Russell joined forces with Martina Mehta aka America in 2008...Tim MALVITA wrote the UK song of the year (AMERICA) which caused quite a stir across the globe and won DARK STAR REVOLT the leverage it needed to touch the masses with bits of truth of un spoken events of 911 and other current events. This new Dark Star Revolt leaned on sex politics and media related activity to fuel the audience with harsh realities of the United State Government. With this fuel the album NEWS @ 11:00 was released as a 10 year reunion of the events of 911 on 9/11/11 which sold numerous units and created controversy across the globe.
As of 2012 DARK STAR REVOLT played its final performance with this particular line up and has not played nor toured since 11/17/12 which was the final recorded show to date. There is no information of future movement of DARK STAR REVOLT @ this time but the full length CD NEWS @11:00 can be purchased or downloaded or listened for free on Last.fm,Facebook,MySpace,Sirius radio,.etc.
Tim MALVITA is the owner,writer,and played all stringed instruments on the album (cd) NEWS @11:00 as well wrote all the lyrics. Aaron Russell played the percussion and drums as well as helped produce the album to its entirety,as America applied her vocals to such hits as "Fallen Soldier","Machine", and many more. Facebook
