Darilyn Rowan

Darilyn Regina Rowan was born in New York, and is a photographer and professor of fine arts/photography at El Camino College in Los Angeles. She is a graduate of Arizona State University. Her photographs have been published in the New England Review, Folio, Long Shot (1996), Cold Mountain Review (2002), Maryland Review, Cream City Review (2004), Wisconsin Review (2002) and the Best of Photography Annual. While a graduate student at Arizona State University, Rowan wrote a paper on the photographs of Roman Vishniac which was published through the Arizona State University History of Photography Monograph Series in 1985. A copy of the publication is in the collection of the Smithsonian Institution Libraries and the Bibliotheque Nationale de France. A set of her photographs is in the permanent collection of the Harvard University Library.
