Danyel T. Reiche

Danyel T. Reiche (* 1972) is a German professor for political science teaching in Lebanon. His main field of expertise is energy policy. Since September 2008, Reiche has been working as an Assistant Professor for Comparative Politics at the American University of Beirut (AUB). In 2005 Reiche completed his habilitation with a comparative analysis of renewable energy policies in the European Union. From August 2006 till July 2007, Reiche worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor for Energy and International Affairs at the School of Foreign Services (SFS), Georgetown University, in Washington DC, USA. He has also been working, since June 2008, at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy as Project Coordinator for Future Energy and Mobility Structures. Danyel Reiche is the editor of the book series Ecological Energy Policy and reviewer for the Heinrich Böll Foundation.

He is also a supporter of Hannover 96, a German football club playing in the Bundesliga, and has written a paper about his passion for the club.
