Danielle Dozier

Danielle Dozier is an American television meteorologist employed at Tribune Broadcasting-owned Fox affiliate WXIN in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dozier, an American Meteorological Society Certified Broadcast Meteorologist, presents the weather on the 4 p.m. newscasts Monday-Wednesday on WXIN and on weekend evenings. She also frequently fills in for Chief Meteorologist Brian Wilkes during weekday evenings.
Career
After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, Danielle Dozier began her career at KTXS-TV in Abilene, Texas. Dozier worked at KTXS for more than four years first as the weekend meteorologist and then as the co-anchor of the weekday morning show. While there, she helped produce and edit an AP-award-winning 30-minute weather show.
Dozier left KTXS in December 2011 for KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At KOCO, Dozier was a part of the team that won "Best Morning Show" from the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters in 2012. for coverage of the 2013 Moore tornado. Dozier was one of the first meteorologists in the field to report on the storm and at one point was a quarter-mile away from the EF-5 tornado.
Dozier made national headlines in June 2014 when she was on-camera providing the weather forecast when a magnitude 4.3 earthquake struck Oklahoma City. The incident led to Dozier being interviewed by CNN's Jeanne Moos regarding her reaction and being able to accurately guess the strength of the earthquake immediately.
Dozier announced she was leaving KOCO in November 2014 to join the WXIN team.
Personal
Dozier is married and grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia. She is well-known to be a bowler.
