Daniella Sya

Daniella Sya Yeng Yeng (born 8 August 1988) is a chinese Malaysian actress and model. Sya began her career as a model and a radio announcer before transitioning into acting in Malaysian and Singaporean films and television series. She played the role of Tan Siew Lan from the 2013 Mediacorp TV series Mata Mata Season 1, Jenny a lifeguard on Mediacorp's Suria's S.O.S, and Melissa in the 2017 Media Prima TV3 romantic comedy drama, Miss Kapten Cikgu Waiz.
Career
Having been modelling since age 16, Sya ventured into hosting and radio work for .
Sya's career in acting began when she starred in an Astro's Telemovie titled Bezanya Cinta in 2008. She then continued in her career in Singapore starring in English and Malay Mediacorp dramas such as Keong Saik Street and S.O.S.
In 2013, Sya starred in the Mediacorp TV drama Mata Mata where she portrayed an uneducated policewoman in 1950s Singapore.
In 2014, Sya did a short stint on Mediacorp Radio's Lush 99.5FM.
In 2015, Sya played a cameo in the Chinese action film which starred Brandon Routh entitled, Lost in the Pacific.
Personal life
Daniella Sya acts and speaks in English and Malay fluently.
In 2015, Sya was embroiled in an Uber harassment case in which the driver sent a text message to her a week after she had used the service. The matter was eventually settled by Uber's management.
