Daniel Rooseboom de Vries

Daniel Rooseboom de Vries (b 12 August 1980) is a freestyle footballer from the Netherlands. He has been a professional football entertainer since 2004.

Rooseboom de Vries is well known for his amazing soccer/football tricks which he can perform with his head, chest, feet, etc.

He has been performing all around the world in stadiums, events, DVDs and on television.
Some examples are the French cupfinal in 2006, Irish cupfinal in 2007 and the worldcup in Germany.

In 2007 he moved to Sweden where he teamed up with the freestylefactory team together with Palle.

Biography

Daniel grew up in Gorinchem (Holland) where he started his interest in football at the age of 5.

When he watched games on television he always wanted to be the players that were skillful, such as Diego Maradona, Marco van Basten and Ronaldo.

During the late 90’s Daniel got really interested in freestyle. Inspired by the famous clip of Maradona (life is life) and several Nike commercials, Daniel started to train football freestyle every day for many hours.

Daniel found out that if you practice hard and disciplined, you can do everything you want with a football.

Things got really serious in 2003 when people started to notice his talent in the Netherlands.

In June 2004 there was a competition on the internet where people could send in their moves on video. Daniel won this competition and started to perform all around the country very soon after.

Nowadays Dan lives in Stockholm (Sweden) and performs all around the world as a professional football freestyler.

He has performed in places such as Australia, Germany, Belgium, France, Sweden, Norway, Holland, Ireland and several places is south east Asia.

Daniel continues to have a great attitude into his work and in life. His positive and friendly character has enabled him to build up an impressive client base in which he wishes to continually grow over the coming years
