Daniel Anscombe (born August 20th 1986) is a production designer for feature films. He is based in the UK, and often works with film producer Gene Fallaize. Film Production Studying for a BA in Contemporary Lens Media at the University of Lincoln, Anscombe specialised in moving image, and achieved upper second class honours in 2008. Whilst still at university in early 2007, he started pre-production on an innovative and grisly horror project with fellow student Jamie Rae, which would eventually become '8ight Limbs', which was completed in June 2008. Outside of university, he also worked alongside Rae on the Cupsogue Pictures feature film ‘Monkeyshine’, where Anscombe had the role of director of photography. Anscombe is currently working as production designer on horror feature 'The Summoning' (2009), directed by Stephen Hudis, and 'Kanashibari'; a suspense filled Japanese horror which he is also writing.
