Dancing to a Different Beat

Dancing to a Different Beat is the unreleased second studio album by Scottish recording artist Michelle McManus, originally scheduled for released in 2008. McManus released a promotional single, "Just For You" on November 5, 2007 in which she had appearances on Loose Women and Children in Need in order to promote the album.
Background
The album was scheduled to have an "80's feel" in a shift away from the more pop driven sound of McManus's previous album, The Meaning of Love. Speaking about the albums sound, McManus said "Well I am really proud of the first album but I don't feel an album of love songs is a true reflection of the music I listen to and ultimately the music I want to make. I have co-written most tracks on this album and yes there is a real 80s electro pop feel to it. I really love bands like Human League, Soft Cell, A-ha and Depeche Mode and took great inspiration from their music."
McManus performed a track from the album entitled "Breaking Free" on the live Scottish broadcast of the Children in Need programme in 2007.
In November 2007, McManus released the song "Just For You" as a promotional single from the album. Despite moderate promotion, the single failed to make any chart impact.
