Dan Penteado

Dan Penteado is a television presenter best known for his role on the British consumer television show Rogue Traders. Dan Penteado would work with a camera crew to entrap and expose dishonest and dangerous workers or businesses, often preying on unsuspecting customers. They would later confront them with the evidence and expose them for the purpose of shaming or criminal charges to be made. Penteado appeared on the show from 2001 until 2012.
On October 2007,Penteado resigned from his role at the BBC and became a full time student at Bournemouth University.In mid 2008 he was invited back to take part on the show for a few days.Over the course of his student years Penteado worked on the show several times.
On 13 June 2012, Pentiado was due in court to face charges of illegally claiming housing and council tax benefit while being a student and not declaring paid work .He appeared in Bournemouth Magistrates' Court on 25 June, when his solicitor, Terrence Scanlan argued the fraud took place between 2008 to 2012 when he studying and was working part-time for the BBC and had made the "very poor judgment not to interrupt the flow of housing benefit"
He admitted eight offences of dishonestly or knowingly claiming housing and council tax benefits.
