Molly Frances Conlin (born 8 March 1998<ref name="BBC"/> Dotty is the daughter of regular bad-boy Nick Cotton, and the granddaughter of Dot Branning. Molly lives in Essex with her mum and younger brother Jack. Conlin began working professionally at the age of four. As well as her part in Eastenders, she has also appeared on television in Little Miss Jocelyn, The Omid Djalili Show and Thank God You're Here. Molly Conlin has worked closely on Eastenders to John Altman and June Brown her character Dotty's Dad and Grandmother. Although of Irish descent, her paternal family moved from Sunderland to Witham, Essex after much of the traditional industry dried up. |
