Ilda Reka was Miss Albania 1994, represented Albania at Miss Universe 1994. Ilda Reka moved from Albania to the United States of America where she had a beautiful daughter. She now lives in Canada with her close family. Ilda has no plans to return formally to modelling, and is instead pursuing the field of reinsurance brokerage. Ilda was Albania's first top model in 1994. She has also been top 12 in Miss Europe, as well as a Miss Globe 2001 3rd runner up. After moving to Canada from Albania, Ilda began working with Sutherland Models from 1996 to 2000, when she decided to move to New York. Ilda began her modelling career at the age of 15 at talent shows. She soon excelled in the field and became Albania's top model at the age of 20. In 2000, she hosted Folkaria, a European music competition. She also hosted the first season of Dua Me Shume Shqiperine, a popular Albanian television show. |
