Damian Slater

Damian Slater (born Andrew Baggio 14 June 1987) is an Australian professional wrestler. Slater is best known for his work with NWA Pro Wrestling and their Australian associates Explosive Pro Wrestling, NWA Pro Australia and their Southern California associates Empire Wrestling Federation, Mach One Wrestling, SoCal Pro Wrestling and the Alternative Wrestling Show.
Career
Damian Slater began his wrestling career at the Monster Factory in South Australia under the tutelage of Australian legends Col Dervaney and Hartley Jackson and made his debut in 2003 at the age of 15. Within two years Slater had earned enough of a reputation to begin wrestling interstate with Western Australia’s EPW.
In 2007 Slater traveled to the United States to train at the San Bernardino, CA based School of Hard Knox under head trainer Jesse Hernandez as well as TJ Perkins, Rocky Romero and Karl Anderson. While in America, Slater had the opportunity to wrestle for local groups as well as at larger NWA events in Phoenix and the Fiesta Lucha event Las Vegas.
Slater returned to the USA in 2009 and briefly feuded with Ryan Taylor for the NWA Heritage Championship.
