Dalsin Industries is a family owned contract sheet metal manufacturer in Bloomington, Minnesota. They create precision sheet metal products for their customers in many industries. It was founded in and is still run from Bloomington, but in 2012 it opened a second facility in Phoenix, Arizona. It was originally a family led business but the CEO, Gary Fruth, and most of the Board of Directors are no longer family members. Dalsin founded, owns, and manufactures Memphis Wood Fire Grills. History Dalsin was founded in 1945 by Dick Dalsin as a mostly architectural sheet metal production company. It was incorporated in 1974, but the Dalsin family officially stepped away from leading the company in 2001. Specialty Dalsin specializes in precision sheet metal contract manufacturing. They most often create products for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), companies which produce consumer products, which the OEM doesn't have the capacity or capability to produce. They help design and produce these products in both of their production facilities. The most important tools they use are robotic welding, panel bending, turret punching, laser cutting, and press brake forming.
