Dale Dwayne Schornack (born March 30, 1956) is the lead male anchor at KXTV. Schornack has anchored along with Cristina Mendonsa for over 10 years. Dale was born in South Dakota. He joined KXTV on August 24, 1997 as the main News10 Anchor with Cristina Mendonsa when Alan Frio left the station. Before joining News10 Dale worked at KSTW in Seattle, Washington as an evening anchor from 1995-1997, and at KDFW in Dallas, Texas from 1991-1995 as an anchor/reporter and in Phoenix, Arizona as a weekend anchor and reporter from 1986-1991. Dale graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor Arts degree in 1978. He is also a licensed Ham operator and resides in Elk Grove, California in southern Sacramento County. |
