Dag Anders Grothaug Kruse (born 5 May 1952 in Oslo, dead 8 March 2006 in Asker) was Norwegian teacher and Master's student in Special Education (UiO), the son of Bjørn G. Andersen (1924-2012) and Astrid E. Kruse Andersen (b. 1926), and cousin of Bjørn og Philip Kruse. His birth name was Dag Grothaug Andersen, but changed name in 1991. Kruse finished his Examen artium at the adult education of Bergen katedralskole after starting Upper secondary school at Asker gymnas (1969), and when his family moved to Bergen continued at Fana gymnas (1971). He begun training as a geologist at University of Bergen in 1975, but did not complete. Then followed a period of practice at Storetveit church nursery followed by Pre-School Teacher training at Stord tacher training college. After working some years as a Pre-School Teacher he decided to be a teacher also and continued teacher studies at Bergen College with music and guitar as specialty. Kruse had a period working at a refugee camp in Hongkong as a voluntary for Youth with the Mission, helping Vietnamese boat Refugees. Then he worked at Vestlandsheimen central institution for Mentally disabled, at Department, and later at the school. Vestlandsheimen school after a reform in the care for Mentally disabled became Adult school north region of Bergen where he worked until he moved back to Asker in 1995. Kruse took great interest in Special Education where he started his Master's. He wanted to specialize in AD/HD prolematics, not the least because he himself got this diagnosis in 1992-93.
