Cydney Ellen Bernard (born 30 March 1953) is an American film producer. She is known by some as Jodie Foster's former partner, though they both deny it, and no sources outside of tabloids have been able to confirm it . She met Foster in 1992 while working as production coordinator for the film Sommersby. It is further claimed by some that since living together she has formally adopted Foster's two sons, Charles (b. 1998) and Kit (b. 2001), whose paternal origin has never been made public. On May 15 2008, certain news outlets reported that Bernard had ended her relationship with Foster.
Bernard's brother, Dustin, works in the film industry as an assistant director.
