Curtis School is a private school in the Los Angeles area. It provides a well-rounded education that prepares students to "pursue confidently the journey of their lives". Students who attend Curtis School are exposed to many activities involving not only Academics, but Athletics and Community Service as well. The school's goal is a Sound Mind, Sound Body, and Sound Heart. Every year the school hosts the famous Curtis School fair. History and background In 1925, Carl F. Curtis founded it as a school for swimming at its original location in West Hollywood, near the Beverly Center. 21st century Curtis Curtis still emphasizes sports, but they also have academic programs. They also emphasize values of the month and tolerance. |
