CTU Director of Field Ops

The Director of Field Operations is the person in charge of all field missions. This position reports to the Director of CTU.

Before Day 1

Christopher Henderson

Around a year before Day 1, Christopher Henderson was Director of Field Ops at CTU. He was forced to resign after an investigation, led by Jack Bauer, showed him to be corrupt. He returns in Day 5 assisting President Charles Logan with his evil plans.

Day 1

Jack Bauer

Jack Bauer assumes the position of Director of Field Ops, along with his existing position of Special Agent in Charge, after Christopher Henderson resigns.

Day 2

It is not clear who the Director of Field Ops was during Day 2, as Jack Bauer had not been active in 18 months.

Day 3

Jack Bauer

Jack Bauer is Director of Field Ops during Day 3, while preventing the spread of a deadly virus.

Day 4

Ronnie Lobell

succeeds Jack Bauer in Day 4. Ronnie is shot and killed while he and Jack try to capture a man working for terrorist Habib Marwan.

Jack Bauer

Jack Bauer is named head of Field Ops after Ronnie Lobell is shot dead.

Day 5

Curtis Manning

Curtis Manning is appointed Director of Field Ops between days 4 and 5, he retains this position throughout the day working alongside Jack Bauer and under Bill Buchanan.

Day 6

Curtis Manning

Curtis, still in his position, reveals that he can not work with Hamri Al-Assad, a former terrorist, when he threatens to kill him Jack is left with no alternative but to shoot and kill Curtis.

Jack Bauer

Jack Bauer assumes this position temporarily until Division can send in another agent.

Mike Doyle

Mike Doyle, joins CTU LA from Fort Bragg, He works with Jack for much of the day to recover several stolen suitcase nukes. Later, Mike goes with Josh Bauer to hand him over to his grandfather, Phillip Bauer, in exchange for an FB-subcircuit board. However, The board Doyle is given is a fake, it blows up in his face, probably blinding him in one, or both, eyes.
