CSix

CSix Connect is a social network and weekly gathering of job seeking high tech professionals in career transition based in the San Francisco Bay Area. CSix Connect helps individuals in career transition significantly improve their job search success through education, in-person networking and mutual support.
Weekly meetings feature a diverse range of guest speakers, company recruiter panels and networking opportunities among members. In addition to the main website, speaker biographies can be found on community event sites such as Work-It.
Founder and Chairman of the Board, Hamid Saadat, is actively involved in running the weekly, 10:30 am meetings at iRestaurant (formerly named House of Sichuan and CSix) in Cupertino, CA as well as managing the .
The CSix East Bay chapter has its own speakers and meets at WineCentives in Dublin, CA.
SIGs
CSix members may choose to participate in one or several of the Special Interest Groups, SIGs. The activity level and participation in SIGs vary depending on membership at any given time.

CSix members who are no longer looking for work may join the CSix Alumni SIG. The purpose of the Alumni group is to stay connected through periodic get togethers and to assist the main group with job leads and contacts. The group provides the opportunity to continue networking with local technology professionals outside of a career transition setting.
Several SIGS and the main CSix are groups on LinkedIn online network of experienced professionals from around the world.
