Scanning Systems Australia is an Australian retail technology company headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland. The company provides hardware and software solutions to small and medium businesses, including independent and major-chain retail supermarkets/convenience stores, pharmacies, fuel stations and hardware warehouses. Scanning Systems Australia was founded in 1997 by David Hagen. Since inception Scanning Systems Australia maintains partner relationships with major Australian distribution channels, banner group retail members and in August 2007 was awarded Queensland Industry Development Scheme grants for future growth. As of January 2007, Scanning Systems Australia has 50 employees, about 70% of whom work in Brisbane. Scanning Systems Australia also has sales and support operations throughout the states of Australia and Asia/Pacific. |
