CricNepal was launched on November 30, 2010 by Nischal Tiwari, a Nepalese Web Developer and Entrepreneur with the help from volunteers around the world. , CricNepal started promoting Under level cricket but it has rapidly grown since the Nepal National Cricket team won ICC World Cricket League division three in Uganda
On November 30, 2016, CricNepal celebrated its sixth anniversary and launched the Edition for the first time.
Founders
Nischal Tiwari is the Founder and Editor of the website, a media technology graduate from Purvanchal University turned IT Entrepreneur. He launched CricNepal in November 30, 2010. He had also worked as the Manager for Colors X-Factors team in the inaugural Nepal Premier League in 2014.

CricNepal's popularity was further demonstrated, when the Nepal National Cricket team played the ICC World Twenty20 2014 in Bangladesh . It is one of the biggest digital media in Nepal having almost a million fans on Facebook.
