Craig Considine

Craig Michael Considine (born June 10, 1985) is a scholar, film director, and anthropologist who specializes on International Relations, the American society, U.S. foreign policy, and Islam. He is currently a research assistant for Ambassador Akbar S. Ahmed at The American University's School of International Service in Washington, DC. He holds a B.A. in International Relations from The American University and an MSc in International Relations and Politics from the Royal Hollaway, University of London.

He has discussed the American identity with prominent scholars such as Noam Chomsky and Hamza Yusuf.
Education
Craig Considine went to The American University for undergrad, where he received a B.A. International Relations. He graduated in 2007.
After earning his B.A., he left the United States to continue his education in England, where he went to University of London, Royal Holloway for graduate school. He graduated in 2008 with an MSc International Relations and Politics.
Current Projects
Currently, Mr. Considine is the film director for the "Journey into America" project, sponsored by The American University, Georgetown University, University of Maryland, and The Brookings Institution. His films have been aired on CNN and BBC World News America, and can be viewed all over Youtube.com.

Literary Achievements
He has been published extensively in numerous newspapers and journals across the globe, including The Pakistan Link and The Post (The Pakistani Post), along with prominent blogs such as The Americans for Informed Democracy.
Controversy
In December of 2008, Mr. Considine wrote an article entitled Obama Should Listen to the Pashtuns that was circulated extensively across the United States. It was also published in The Post, a prominent newspaper in Pakistan, but is currently censored for it's hard truths.
