Anthony Moffat

Anthony Charles Moffat (born 7 November 1981, Dumfries, Scotland) is the bass player and songwriter for the rock band Sundown on Topanga. He is also involved in film direction and production, his most recent project as producer being the One Second Film in association with Christina Ricci, Kevin Bacon, Spike Jonze and Pierce Brosnan.
Sundown on Topanga
Moffat formed the Glasgow band Sundown on Topanga with close friend, guitarist and singer Richard Tasker in 2005, and added drummer Stuart Cameron in 2006. The band are currently working on their debut release.
Film production
Moffat's most recent production work has been on the collaborative One Second Film project, due for release in 2007.
Acting
Moffat was offered a role in the 2005 John Maybury directed feature, The Jacket, but due to scheduling difficulties was unable to make his feature film debut. He does, however, appear briefly in the R.E.M. documentary, A Stirling Performance.
Publishing
Moffat has also recently published a book of reports and essays by American writer Brook Russell, former News Editor for the University Of Evansville Crescent.
Graphic novels
Moffat is also currently working on an autobiographical graphic novel based on his travels in the United States.
